The package features four software-based programs (including Learn Arabic Now, Arabic Before You Know It and LinguaMatch) and an audio CD collection. This provides a lot of material for you to learn Arabic.

This great software package has one drawback though: you have to use four different software programs while learning Arabic. Don’t worry, Arabic Learning Suite does have a few advantages that help balance out these problems. It integrates video into the learning experience more effectively than any other program we have seen. Some of the lessons in the suite can also be used on MP3 players while you are on the go.
The Arabic Learning Suite brings together pronunciation and conversation practice with the use of a speech recognition system. The main software, Learn Arabic Now has teaching methods for all the fundamentals, the other softwares focus only on vocabulary.

The Complete French Learning Suite is a good choice for beginners. This suite is a compilation of Transparent Language’s most popular language programs. The main learning program is Learn French Now, which is a good program based around video lessons. The next softwares are the flashcard programs French Before You Know It and Panoramic, both designed to help you with vocabulary and picture-word association. The Complete French Learning Suite also comes with an audio course and a dictionary for supplementing learning. All of these components are available to be purchased separately from Transparent Language.

Each of these programs offer different things to learn French. The individual features and benefits of each program aren’t brought together into one comprehensive program, so the Complete French Learning Suite loses some of its effectiveness. If you want to take advantage of all the benefits you must switch back and forth between programs.

The Complete French Learning Suite is an excellent choice if you simply want to practice your vocabulary, but do not expect too much in the areas of grammar.
